For the first time in months, we have very little planned this weekend. I cannot wait to play with my family, snuggle with my husband, and try some recipes from around the web. Here are some of the things that we’ll be cooking up:

Cate you are so sweet to mention my apple dumplings. Thank you!! I hope you do make them and enjoy some comfort before your schedule gets more hectic. I have 4 kids and can only bake when the three are at school. They wrap themselves around our legs and make it hard to move in the kitchen. My preschooler loves helping in the kitchen though.. and she even likes to help me clean up!
