The Rocketts right? I wanted to see this show, but just didn't have the time. The festival of lights I thought would be good because you live in New York, but is where you drive around the lake at night and they have miles and miles of Christmas lights and displays. Then at the end they have a Santa's Village where you can pet barn animals and roast marshmellows over an open pit and drink hot coco. That is where I am taking the kids next weekend. Yes, that flour is amazing. I use it for all of my baking and everything comes out so light and melts in your mouth. I can't use any other flour now that I am hooked on this flour.

I just thought of another great activity to do with your children is to go gold mining in Dahlonga. Did you know that the actual gold rush began first there?

oh, that looks amazing! I'd love to take our kids to see that someday….Living where we do, our holiday traditions are pretty centered around the fields and forests. We just did our annual lantern walk and now we're making animal treats (pinecone bird feeders, deer "gift baskets" etc. Come December 21st, we'll snowshoe into the woods and leave these treats for our animal friends:)– it's our way of playing santa:)
