Those Oliver + S Croquet Dresses in Action

10 June 2012 Filed In: Crafts, sewing, Uncategorized

Catching a moment with both sisters in their Oliver + S Croquet Dresses was no small task, especially since the model of the smaller dress had to walk, climb, toddle, dance, and generally get itself into a LOT of trouble.  Finally, though, I caught up with these girls and their matchy matchy.

What do you think?  Will they love these pictures in ten years or roll their eyes and curse me?

Adorable! I think trouble is just around the corner here at our house. Addy is pulling herself up at every chance.

They’re going to love them for sure! They’re coordinating, not costumey. And frankly, as lovely as your work is, even if the dresses were totally identical they’d love them. I think old matchy dresses look silly only when the dresses themselves look a bit silly (I’ve been that bridesmaid!) and can look very put-together when the dresses are chic (happily, I’ve been that bridesmaid too).

“they’ll love these pictures in ten years” was one of my first thoughts when I scrolled down the pictures, even before I read your consideration, haha!
