Oliver + S Sleepover Pajamas

05 September 2011 Filed In: Crafts, sewing

Back in July Liesl of Oliver + S sent us the pattern for this adorable pajama set, The Sleepover Pajamas, to test before it headed to the printer.  Mira chose the main color, her new fave, light blue.  I chose the two other fabrics, a sweet Liberty floral and a classic blue pinstripe, to give a little more dimension to the details and to balance the blue my daughter picked out.

Don’t you want a pair for yourself?

The pattern was just released, along with a couple of other new Fall patterns, a few days ago and is available via the Oliver + S website.  For the sake of testing these pajamas, we made the ruffled, girly version, but I cannot wait to dig into the pattern without the ruffle so that Liev can have a manly p.j. for himself.  He loved the blue pinstripe, so we will probably use that fabric for his pair, too.

As I was sewing the top, I kept envisioning using this same pattern, ruffle and all, but making it fully lined and in a sturdier fabric.  Instant Fall jacket!  What do you think?

So sweet — and I’m amazed that you actually made them!

I’m sorry I missed your post about the hurricane and Vermont. I hope that you and your family are all right.
