To play Corner View catch-up and in preparation for the weekend’s events, here is a review of how to hard boil eggs… just in case you’ve forgotten or, worse, over boiled them in the past:

  1. Carefully, place the eggs in the bottom of a sturdy-bottomed wide pan.
  2. Add cold water till it covers the eggs by at least an inch-and-a-half.
  3. Bring the water to a boil, uncovered on the stovetop (Big Person will do this part!)
  4. Once at a boil, cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Carefully drain the eggs in a colander and run cold water over them to cool them down.

Voila!  Perfectly hard boiled eggs that are ready to decorate or with which to make deviled eggs (super yum!) for Easter Brunch.

As we have been waiting for our own chick to hatch over here, my CV’s have been neglected.  Please check out these more timely views from around the world.
